If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product purchased via our Online Catalogue, you may return it for a refund. This is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom
The following terms and conditions will apply:

1/ Machines
Sewing Machines, Embroidery Machines, Overlockers, Dress Forms, Horn Sewing Cabinets.
Are only covered by this guarantee if they were purchased for normal domestic purposes and used in a household environment.

1A/Refunds must be asked for in writing or by e-mail or by recorded delivery,dropping machines off in our various showrooms will not guarantee a refund unless the goods are faulty

2/ You must let us know
The Customer must inform us of any intention to return the item / items within 7 days of INVOICE of the goods either by phone or email.
Where items have arrived damaged in transit, the customer must inform us about this within 24 hours from receipt of the goods.

3/ Faulty or Damaged Goods
Coopers will arrange collection of goods from addresses in mainland United Kingdom and pay the return carriage cost if: the item / items were found to be faulty, transit damaged or if the item was sent in error.ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING,IF YOU HAVE DISPOSED OF IT YOU CAN PURCHASE DIRECT FROM SUPPLIERS

4/ Dislike, or unhappy with your purchase, goods ordered by mistake.
With the exception of items that were delivered and found to be damaged or faulty.
The customer will pay the return carriage cost if the item was ordered in error, or if the customer simply does not want the goods. Under such circumstances, where valuable items are being returned i.e. Sewing Machines, Overlockers, Cabinets, Software etc, it is advisable that customers should opt for insured shipping, as  Cooper’s will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to goods returned for refund. Refunds will only be issued upon safe receipt of the goods being returned.

5/ Must be unused and in new condition.
With the exception of items that were delivered and found to be damaged or faulty: 5
Goods being returned for a refund must be unused. They must also be returned in their original packaging and in new condition. Software, Memory Cards, Design CDs must be unopened and any security seals and / or shrink-wrap must be intact.


6/Refund payments.
Where payment has been made by credit / debit card, monies refunded can only be applied to the card which the customer used to make the original purchase.If you order and then cancel before delivery you will be charged 25%
For security purposes, we may need to contact the customer to verify details. Under normal circumstances refunds will be credited to customers within 30 business days of returned items being safely received back at Coopers.

7/ Goods returned incomplete.
Coopers will adjust the amount refunded to cover any items found to be missing from orders that have been returned. It is up to the customer to check that all accessories, notions, peripheral devices and other items such as manuals, foot controls etc that were included in the original order are not missing before being parceled up and returned.

8/ Pack Carefully
Please ensure that you carefully pack any items being returned to us.
As the sender; the customer is responsible for the return carriage and we will not cover the cost of goods that get damaged in transit on their way back to us.

9/ Please e-mail us for  a returns number without it could delay returning your money

10/ If you wish to have a 30 day trial please request in writng a trial number

11/When you buy a product in the store your rights are different from purchasing on the internet.

12/THE PRICES IN OUR SHOWROOM ARE NOT THE PRICES ON THE INTERNET

11/Finally some products that we sell like Polti and Silver Knitting machines are non stock items, if you order and simply change your mind we will refund you your money less up to 25% admin  charge, this would be for collecting and sending back to our suppliers, please check before you order that the item is in stock

12/Please insure all goods for the full value if you are sending them to us,machines can get damaged in transit

13/If you cancel before delivery after requesting special delivery instructions(e.g outside uk and to be delivered within a certain time period) , you will have the right to cancel but with 20% surcharge for cancelling this applies to non stock items when ordeing please check

13a/ If you cancel before delivery we have the right to charge 20% admin fee , be sure you wish to order, this applies to items that are especially ordered in for clients, such as POLTI, LADY VALET, SILVER KNITTING MACHINES

14/ We cannot collect any goods from outside uk
