15 YEAR PARTS AND LABOUR ANNUAL SERVICE
Each year, we will collect and re-deliver your machine for an annual service. NO CHARGE (collected free for the first 2 years)
There after your machine will still be serviced at no cost but you would have to pay for the carriage (approx £7.00 each way)
This will save at the current rates of machine servicing, approximately £90.00 per year. That’s the reason for buying from Coopers.
Over 100 years in the business of selling machines gives us that expertise to maintain machines for such a long period.
PURCHASE WITH PEACE OF MIND
During the guarantee period if your machine is found to be in need of attention owing to problems caused through faulty components and/or poor workmanship, we will arrange collection, repair and return of your machine at no charge as long as all the original boxing and packaging (including the polyester interior packaging) are intact.
We will not collect your machines if you do not retain the original packaging. If you have discarded or misplaced the packaging, some manufacturers hold extra packaging that can be purchased; ring for further details. A false claim of retaining the packaging resulting in our acceptance of collection, leading to the machine being damaged is not the responsibility of our company, leaving the liability costs to the customer. We do not collect from outside the UK and will not pay for deliveries back to us.
This DOES NOT affect your statutory consumer rights and will apply only to machines purchased for use in the UK mainland and used for normal domestic purposes. It does not however cover items such as:
· needles
· bobbins
· light bulbs
· loopers
· belts
· blades
· etc
(As stated on the manufacturers guarantee document).
Very often, all problems on sewing machines and over lockers are down to user error. Customers who have purchased from Cooper Sewing Machines Ltd can use the above number to phone for free help and advice. If we find that your machine is in need of workshop attention, our collection-repair and return facility will be quickly arranged. Please retain the original packaging components (box, polyester and any other protective materials that were enclosed).
If you do not have the machines annually serviced, this will not affect your guarantee.
People who profit from domestic sewing machines i.e. for a cottage industry will invalidate their guarantee. Domestic machines can only be used for domestic and private use.
If you have your machine, press or overlocker repaired by any other company your guarantee will be void.
PRESSES
All presses being used for commercial purposes such as, hotels, nursing homes or B&Bs are guaranteed for 6 months.
INDUSTRIAL MACHINES
Industrial machines to be covered under warranty have to be returned to us at North Finchley, London.
SUMMARY
In conclusion we want your machines to last you for many years. The collection and delivery of your machines is at our expense for the full period of your guarantee. However if we collect your machines and find that due to misuse or customer error , will still not charge you , but may charge you for the return carriage. Please before sending your machine back to us; contact our service department to discuss. This may solve any problems and delays to your sewing. (The cost of return deliver currently by DPD is £7.00. This will only be charged if the machine has been collected through customer error.
